Captain Steven Sabo - Be a Better Paintball

Captain Steven Sabo is a retired police officer who loves to spend a day out on the field playing paintball with friends and family. He has even been looking for ways to improve his performance and become more competitive. One way to do just that is to simply become more familiar with whatever equipment that you are using. A good paintball player will consistently use the same weapon because they are used to its weight and know what it is capable of. That is why if you want to improve your overall skills as a paintball player, you need to be consistent with your equipment so that you can develop a better familiarity with it.

Another great way to improve your overall paintball skills is to learn the proper shooting form and technique. Even the most expensive paintball guns can have a poor firing rate, which is why this technique will help you get the most firepower out of your equipment. First you want to position your thumb straight out and fold in your pinkie and ring finger, then place your middle and index finger on the trigger. Then you simply alternate pulling the trigger with your middle and index finger, trying to do this as quickly as possible. This is known in paintball as walking the trigger. By developing this simple skill you can fire faster than your opponent, giving you a huge edge on the field.
