Paintball is a safe and addictive combat sport. People have
probably seen this played in many types of scenarios, but you are probably
familiar with individuals who play this in the woods, on specialized courses
and in many other arenas. Getting started
playing the game of paintball is pretty easy. You can rent the gear and decide
whether it’s something that you want to do. There is a proper amount of gear
that you need at a minimum you choose to buy your own and start out. The first
thing quite obviously is choosing a paintball gun. It is the most important
piece of equipment that you can have, and
it is important to select a model that is versatile, lightweight and cheap. This is so that you can get experience and
decide whether the sport is for you and whether you will be upgrading your gear
at a later date. A propulsion tank is the next
part of selecting gear.
Paintball guns are powered
by a variety of compressed gasses that are concentrated in a tank. These include
carbon dioxide, air, and Nitro. Carbon
dioxide is most commonly used the tank
for beginners because it is the cheapest and easiest to fill. As a paintball player progresses in his game and gains
more experience, many will invest in an air tank which has the benefit of
consistent distance and speed during the shot and it is also not temperature
sensitive, which can be critically important. Appropriate gear that is designed for safety is essential to being safe during paintball activity. By implementing
appropriate face and eye protection with gloves, a mask, knee and elbow pads,
and comfortable but sturdy clothing, the safety gear can go a long way.
Paintball goggles are an important investment as well you should never play
without these, so it bears a lot of consideration. Captain Steven Sabo is a
